Good News Everyone!

Yes, we have officially got confirmation that the pledges have been booked in and the shipping process is underway! In fact things were finalized last week, however we were holding off hoping to get some timelines and things for you, unfortunately we still have not had any confirmation on that. However, we did not want to keep you in the dark, so yes, the shipping process has begun. Once we have some timelines, maybe some trackable info, we will update you again.

I know this update is incredibly short, but we know that you've all been eager to hear when this process would begin, so rest assured, your pledges are on the move.  These will now be shipped to distribution hubs and then sent directly to your addresses. 

This does mean, we need any changes of address as soon as possible, as once the pledges are at the Hubs, we will be unable to change anything. We have received a few requests to update addresses over the last few days, if we havent responded yet, do not worry, our team has been a bit ill over the weekend, so havent been able to reply to everyone yet, but do know, if you have emailed us, we will be able to update your details and you should hear from us in the next day or so.

Again, thank you again for all your support, please keep an eye on this page for more details on the shipping process in the following weeks, but until then, do know that the final countdown has begun!

Manufacturer Hold-Ups

Hi all,

This is going to be a short and honest update: after much chasing (and slow responses), our manufacturer has just today given us an updated release date for our items on the 10th of October. This was due to delays on their end coinciding with a Chinese national holiday that ends on the 6th of October.  We were not informed of these delays until after the previous deadline they established had passed, and we had to actively chase for an update.

This has come on the tail of months of broken promises and a constant string of delays, and at this point, we're escalating our frustration with them. What should have been ready months ago has been pushed further and further down the timeline to the point where we're no longer able to put any trust in their delivery timelines.

We've voiced our strong disappointment and will hold the team accountable over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, we have been provided with images of the rewards ready to ship; please see some of them below:

We'd like to apologize for this additional delay; the hurdles being thrown our way during this end stage of the project have been a big challenge, but rest assured we're still doing all we can to get these rewards in your hands as soon as possible.

Shipping around the corner...

Hello, hello, hello!

We hope everyone's keeping well and cool! We're filled with anticipation as we gear up for the next exciting phase of our project.

Preparing for Shipment

The release of your rewards (from our manufacturer) is currently scheduled for September 22nd. This is slightly delayed from our previous update to some necessary paperwork hurdles missed by our manufacturer, after them previously confirming that this was done. Rest assured, we are working closely with them to overcome these delays as swiftly as possible. Once these formalities are completed, our dedicated distribution team will process your rewards for delivery to the respective ports.

Timeline Overview

At this point, we'd like to reshare the estimated timelines for the various stages of shipment (provided by our distribution team):

1.  Manufacturing Hub to Freight Hub: This initial stage will take approximately 1-2 weeks.
2.  Port to Destination Hubs:
   From China to the USA (delivering to CA): Anticipate a shipping duration of about 4 weeks.
   From China to AU (delivering to NZ): Your rewards should reach you within approximately 2-3 weeks.
   From China to the UK (delivering to EU and ROW): The most extended leg of the journey, with an estimated shipping time of about 4-6 weeks.

Final Call - Shipping Payments and Address Updates

I hope you're all having a wonderful week!

Outstanding Shipping Payments

I wanted to provide you with a quick update regarding outstanding shipping payments. We will be making a final attempt to process payments for backers who have not yet paid for shipping. This attempt will take place on Friday, August 25th. Please note that this will be our last effort to charge the outstanding card payments for shipping en mass. 

To ensure a smooth process, kindly reach out to your bank and make sure they have whitelisted Stripe  - which is the payment platform we are using to collect these payments - or update your card payment details following BackerKit's supplied guide.

Address Updates - Final Call

Additionally, this is your last chance to update your shipping address. On Friday, we will be sharing the final shipping addresses with our distributor so they can make the necessary preparations for the logistics. If you've recently moved or need to make changes to your shipping address, please get in touch with us before Friday. If we don't receive your updated address in time, we might not be able to guarantee that your reward reaches your new location.

Next Steps

Looking ahead, our next update will focus on the distribution phase. Once our manufacturers have handed over your rewards to our distribution team, we'll be gearing up for their journey to our distribution hubs.

Hello Realmwalkers, friends new and old!

First of all, all we hope you are all well and thriving! This will be a short update, but as promised, we wanted to keep you up to date with everything going on here at Unlimited Realms and where possible, give you an insight into the book design!

Streams are back!

First of all, our weekly artists streams, sitting down with creators who are working with us on Cyran's Magnificent Walking Marketplace is back! Today I will be on steam with the ever talented Elaine Ryan as we unveil some of the monster art she has been creating for Cyran's Menagerie, as well as more designs for the Races, that will be decorating the pages of the book. Join us today at 8pm BST or 11am PST. Then tomorrow, some of the team from Tales of the Gilded will be sitting down to cause some mischief as we play Honey Heist! 8pm BST or 11am PST, once again, all streams can be found on our Twitch channel. With the VOD going straight up once completed.

Book Development!

Dave and I are fully in writing mode right now, with production of the book our highest priority! Last week we put the final touches to the Item Modification rules, that will allow you to take that common, rusty sword of your ancestors and turn it into an epic weapon of legends! We don't want to give much away (Keep an eye on our playtest group for more) but we can say that this simple system will allow you to add modifications, depending on the rarity of the item and over time upgrade it from uncommon, to rare and beyond. 

As well as more rules, the design of the book is now getting our full attention. We have a number of pages designed (more on those in just a moment) and have started producing all the artwork we need to fill the book upon release. Just take a look at this early sketch, depicting the Dojo stretch goal: 

UK Games Expo

Finally, as anyone following our socials will already be aware of, we are coming to UK Games Expo! Both Dave and I will be there with samples and products you can pick up, feel and try out! Such as our Magic Item Cards, Map and more excitedly a sample of the completed pages so far! In addition we will have a number of free goodies to give away, and a competition for everyone who pledges or pre-orders the book! We can't wait to meet you, so anyone who will be at the expo, come say hi!
